The Hair Company

Hi all! Here you can find out a little bit of how The Hair Company came to be.

I'm Kammie (you can find my story below) and I started cosmetology school in August of 2017 and had planned to work in a local salon once I was graduated. That had alway been my plan, with hopes of someday opening my own salon. Well, isn't it funny how life changes? Within the course of 3 weeks, my entire plan had been turned upside down! That's really where our story begins. I had started to kind of toy with the idea of opening my salon sooner than I had originally anticipated, but never would I have imagined it'd be this soon. I went on a complete whim and went to look at a building. If I told you it was love at first sight, I'd 110% be lying, but the more I thought about it, the more I knew that this could be reality. I ended up signing papers the next week and the building was mine! This whole journey started in November of 2017, and with a whole lot of blood, sweat, tears (a lot of tears), demolition, and remodeling... we finally made it and I'm completely living the dream!

I’m Kammie, the owner and stylist at The Hair Company. I’m just a simple girl at heart, who loves to make you feel your absolute best. 

I love to specialize in bridal/special event hair. However, I also offer a wide variety of color services, hair cuts, styles, basic facials, and facial waxing.

I grew up in Blandinsville and have lived here my whole life. I couldn’t be more grateful to have the opportunity to serve this little community that holds such a special place in my heart and continue to develop relationships with my current clients and all of my new clients to come. 

My main focus is to provide a relaxing, comfortable, and safe place for you to come escape the real world for a little while and leave feeling better than when you came.
